Can You Imagine?
By Yamini
Can you imagine how amazing it would be:
To define yourself by the ideals you set for others?
To transcend the delusions you have about yourself,
From the lies told to you as a child, and later as an adult?
To see the world each day only from loving eyes,
And operate out of pure gratitude and joy for all that is?
Can you imagine how grand and great you would feel:
To move through your life unfettered by limiting thoughts?
To be able to look into a stranger's eyes, unashamed?
To light up everyone's face with your smile?
To see God's perfection each time you look in the mirror?
To see the Buddha in every man,
A Goddess in every woman?
Can you imagine how magnificent it would feel:
To be clear about each choice you've made,
Knowing it was right for the highest good of all,
And then being witness to a domino effect of consequences
That reverses the planetary trajectory of despair and destruction,
And casts a far flung web of joy and healing?
Can you imagine how your life would be:
If you loved openly and fully without expectations?
If you loved yourself unconditionally?
If you were loved by someone else as much?
If you could feel the love energy that permeates the universe,
And were able to radiate that love to all who passed you by?
Can you imagine a world full of people just like you,
In this amazing state of grace?
Go ahead, Imagine it!
